Button prints
I'm playing around with my button print on different materials I:e chiffon paper textiles using brown acrylic paint mixed with acrylic printing medium and another layer of white ontop
Glass screen prints
I am working with layers of glass with prints and include my material prints too. I am going to put my glass in the water jet cutter so I can have a running stitch going through the layers of glass

Drawings
These small drawings I'm working on are for visual research to put into my glass art work, I have used just a pencil to create the different textures and tones! My next step is to progress these drawings further in colour, layered up and in both glass and textiles.
Recycled flowers
These flowers are made from recycled polystyrene and ironed down to let the air out of them! Then sewn together in a flower shape and added 2 buttons in the middle to finish them off! They didn't take long to make and are easy to make too. I am really happy with the out come and hope to make a lot more

Drawings
This is a page from my sketch book, I love to work freely and very messily stitching into patterns or objects.
Another cut out
This is my favourite cut out I've done so far, I love how the colours work and how the imagery tells a story through paper.
Start of the cut outs.
I've started to make paper cut outs with images of roses, buttons, silhouettes and birds and then layering them up and stitching into the cut outs! Ive started to work on a scale of 15cm by 15cm to begin with but my aim is to work bigger. I will then translate the cut out paper onto glass with prints and layering up! I really want to cut wholes through the layers to create a running stitch and weave my own printed material through the wholes.

Screen printing
This is a picture of a friend and his brother that I have photoshopped and stamped. I then cut three layers of bullseye glass at 12cm x 15cm and screen printed on top of one layer. Let it dry for an hour and then cleaned the other two layers of glass and then layered them into the kiln making sure that the print is sandwiched between the two clear glass pieces. I programmed the kiln to go up to 804 degrees and soak for 15 minutes and we will have to see how it turns out tomorrow once it comes out of the kiln.

Water jet project
This was a project I did on a water jet cutter cutting both the carpet wood and glass. I designed my work on rhino 4.0 and then transformed that into the programme for the water jet cutter. I screwed all the layers onto a plain white wall in the way I designed it on Rhino.
First project in third year of my degree
This post is my recent pieces of work, a combination of textiles and ceramics. At the minute I am trying to combine glass, ceramics and textiles together to either make an installation piece or a wearable piece. As you can see from the image i have created my own print and lino printed onto a piece of material and sew padding on the back to give it depth. I then made ceramic porcelain buttons with lace pressed into the clay, biscuit fired them to 800 degrees and stitched them onto my fabric.
